HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!
Since writing is my LOVE LANGUAGE, I'm dropping some gems today!
I don’t know about you, but planning out content is a MUST for me! If I don’t plan, you can rest FOR SURE, an anxiety attack is coming. I get really overwhelmed if I don’t plan.
A content plan consists of well laid steps set to achieve a perfect piece. As a good writer, it is not advisable to jump into a project without thinking about the best ways to go around it. You do not want to get stuck in the middle of writing a piece because you cannot figure out the way forward. Content writing involves creating information in a written form for online purposes such as marketing, brand awareness, etc. Content could be written in different formats which include articles, newsletters, e–books, product descriptions, etc.
Drawing a plan for writing content helps you stay focused. It enforces your clarity on what goals you want to achieve through what you are writing. Your plan shows you who your target audience is, the best ways to reach out to them and what resources you may need. It promotes consistency which leads to improved engagement from your readers. And let’s face it, being consistent is hard as hell!
Your content plan should not fall short of the following details:
The goals you need to achieve through your content.
The content format.
The topic you have chosen to write about.
Deadlines for publication.
Writing routine and desired length of the written content.
Make sure the goal your content intends to achieve is distinct and clear even to your readers. It starts from what you want to accomplish to who your content needs to reach in order for you to meet up with those goals. Keep your topics short and attractive, but let it reflect the profit your audience will make from reading your content.
Don’t forget to tell a story; ultimately inspire your readers to take action!
Sending you much love tu-day and always!!!
